ASNT Level 3 Services
Aerotechnics currently maintains ASNT level 3 certifications in eddy current, ultrasonics, magnetic particle, and fluorescent penetrant methods. With over 70 years of commercial aircraft nondestructive inspection experience between them, ATI partners and associates are keenly aware of how to put these certifications to work for your operation. Some examples -
- New procedure development - in many cases, NDT can solve inspection problems that plague your operation with aircraft down-time or excessive manpower requirements. Our level 3 consultants can propose alternative inspections, work with the aircraft manufacturer and regulatory authorities to gain approval, write the inspection procedure, and train your people to do the job.
- Training and certification program oversight - in many cases it's assumed that in order to have a credible NDT program you need level 3 oversight. While this is true, consider the value of a level 3 staff that has dedicated their careers to aircraft NDT can bring to your aviation inspection program. We like to call it "value-added oversight".
